The idea of transmedia can be overwhelming and positively explosive at the same time. We’ve seen transmedia projects for years, but only in the past few years was the term transmedia coined. I built a transmedia project around a paranormal script I wrote. Follow Lorna Jennings and her time at the Jackson Road House before it disappeared.
Lorna Jennings, a character from a short film I wrote, December ’79, is an amateur paranormal investigator. She grew up near a house high up on a hill near her neighborhood. Rumors surrounded this house her entire childhood about the murders of two, possibly three children in December of 1979. When the owner of The Jackson House dies, the house is open for investigation. Lorna invited a team to join her, but what they find just might scare them from ever returning and Lorna from ghosts altogether.
The transmedia story of Lorna Jennings takes place on her blog, in a script, in various message bots, and on Instagram. Start with her blog below and enjoy the ride.
