About a year ago, I called a friend of mine and asked him if he’d like to partner with me in launching a literary magazine. The short answer was yes, the longer was, let’s talk a lot and plan a lot, then think a bit, then why not?
He said yes. And then I spent a year tying up projects so I could focus on things I want to do not things I need to do.
We are officially live and officially launching a magazine. Truly, our hope this year is for this to be an annual book then get into a quarterly, then hopefully a monthly magazine. Remember, I’ve spent the last year getting ready for this. So, I’m dreaming big here. I am dreaming about material so vast we can’t fit it into a magazine and will need to go bigger for 2019.
Why?
Because we deserve it. Because the fabulous authors we see day after day deserve to be seen by more than just us.

In the meantime, I need to go to bed. It’s been a long day of wrapping up projects so this could go live. We are live. I’m going to start by sleeping through it. I expect to wake to emails. Submissions. I want to wake in a new world built by elves and run by tiny humans living in a tin can city. Can someone go write that story for me?
