What genre can I submit?
We are accepting any genre with good story and character arcs.
How long can my story be?
We’d like to see Flash Fiction up to 1,000 words and short stories up to 5,000 words.
Are you accepting poetry?
We’d love to see poetry.
What are the requirements for artwork?
We need a hi-res digital scan or digital piece.
When is the deadline?
For this issue, our deadline is September 30, 2019

What is this Toni Morrison thing?
We’re still in discussions, but if we get enough submissions from authors of color about characters of color, in honor of our love of Toni Morrison’s work over the years, we’d like to donate the submission fees for these stories to a charity on her name. Our first thoughts are to donate directly to The Toni Morrison Society, but we are still researching this.
